OUR VALUES

As the apolitical and nonpartisan voice of our community, The Lambert strives to meet the requirements of credibility and reliability. Hence, as the editorial team, we take care of the verification of published information. We want the Journal to hold values of honesty, respect and commonality. It is the forum in which every member of our community can find their voice and present the work they are proud of. We rely on the intelligent and talented members of our community to present their worldviews and accomplishments, encouraging readers to reflect and discuss.

The Lambert is created by the community of Polish students in the UK as a project of the Federation of Polish Student Societies in the UK. But, it does not limit itself to this community only. We are open to anyone interested in current affairs, anyone who has something valuable to say or anyone who wants to share their work. It is published online and on paper at the conferences organised by the Federation. We truly believe in the significance of the actions with the mission, the work in the interest of our readers and the written word that has the power to shape the attitudes and inspire to reflect upon the current trends shaping our community, both in the UK and Poland, and the rapidly changing world.

OUR READERS

Besides the primary aim of getting across to the members of our community, we prepare The Lambert for those, who care about the phenomena shaping both, our everyday lives and our future. For those who value reliability and objectivity. It is a publication for the readers that look for quality, for materials related to Polish and British issues and global affairs; for people interested in up-to-date trends in culture, science, technology and ideas contributing to current social solutions. It is not only for the Polish audience but for everyone who enjoys a compelling and thought-provoking read.
